Iskren Vankov

Iskren is a PhD student designing and optimising photonic-crystal all-optical transistors for faster, lower-energy computing. He previously spent more than a decade in industry across nuclear fusion, derivatives trading, and software start-ups. His earlier research in quantum information spanned an MSc in Computer Science at Oxford and a BSc in Computer Science and Physics at Edinburgh, including a year at Caltech.
